Campaigning for new sources of development finance
Film Premiers in Parliament

Stamp Out Poverty’s new film, introduced by Channel 4's Jon Snow, was recently launched at the Houses of Parliament.

You can watch the film here

Can Pay, Should Pay is a fast-paced 10-minute film setting out how a sterling stamp duty could raise in the region of £2 billion a year to boost aid to the world's poorest countries.

Lord Joel Joffe, a long-time supporter of the campaign kindly hosted the event, which was attended by Parliamentarians, journalists and NGO colleagues.

The film has been widely praised as entertaining and informative. It is an excellent introduction to the subject of why additional development finance is needed and how the sterling stamp duty can generate urgently needed revenue now. See the film, recommend it to your friends and get in touch with us to request a DVD.
