Stamp Out Poverty is a network of development agencies, charities, faith groups and trade unions campaigning for innovative sources of finance to generate additional revenue over and above what will currently be produced through traditional aid, to bridge the funding gap required to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the elimination of world poverty.
The Network was set up in 2002 by the charity War on Want, who had been campaigning on these issues since 1998. The Network has grown to more than 50 organisations whose combined memberships number many millions of UK citizens.
